I’m 18 years old. I am a Christian and recently i survived a bout of chronic appendicitis. my case was very extreme where my appendix had ruptured and infection went throughout my body shutting down organs. My doctors gave me a 30% chance of survival. 2 surgeries later and a month in the hospital i feel truly blessed to come out alive. With this all said i would like to get a tattoo that will forever remind me of what i have been through and how blessed i am to have survived and to have a second chance.
Hi everyone. I am wanting to get my 2nd tattoo. This one i want to be a really personal one. and i want it to be extremley special to me & My life. Because i am a younger person.. I really want to have one.. that i know i will not regret in years to come, ofcourse this is possible i know. Let me tell you my ideas.
I wanted to get a very..Gothic,yet comforting Angel done on my side. I have never been an extremley strong religious person,but am a decent enough christian. not really the point,.. but.. The angel idea.. Came from.. Many previous times.. I have had Suicide attempts. and every time.. i have come out fine and alive. Not only does this give me frustration,because it was a suicide attempt, but it gives me a feeling that i am meant to be in this world.. for now.. otherwise i would have been gone.
Each time.. with various overdoeses & Wrist slitting.. I have been in severe Pysical pain after.. instead of calling for my parents etc.. i have asked a higher power.. Begged.. a higher power.. to end my pain (pysical) because it was so servere. Each time i have prayed so hard.. i have either.. fell asleep../unconcious/ in a somewhat peaceful state.. (most times.. i have fallen asleep.. while this is happening, and i get discovered while asleep, taken to hospital etc.) There have been other times.. When i have been going through an extremley rough time.. and as if i had been injected with a powerful seditive.. I occassionally would get this sense of peace & calm enter my body.. Feel it go through my body.. and its Bliss. At times when i have been extremley,emotionally unwell state of mind.. Some Ridiculous thing happens out of the blue, (e.g. A Teacher, starts screaming at me randomly for no reason.. for walking in a different path!) which in is self, is riduculous, but changed my current state of mind. This all makes me believe there is higher power watching over me.. and ive noticed it more now as i practice yoga,& self Hypnosis.
Anyway.. (sorry lol).. I wanted to get an Angel.. as the symbol of protection.. and more.. Inner Peace..& Inner acceptance.. I want it to be really detailed.. but am not sure if an angel is the best symbol. I want something that represents .. Me.. Being watched over.. & Guided.. A symbol, that represents.. a turning point in my life.. Something to always have with me.. that makes me say.. No matter what bad times lie ahead.. I will pull through.. and get through.. I basically want some genious, to give me their opinion!!  thanks
just in case i want to get one, i want to have an idea of exactly what kind of tattoo i want. plus i don’t want to go out on a whim and get something i’ll regret.
i am canadian, live in vancouver but have a great interest in the city of los angeles and california in general. i’m a christian, i believe in love, i play guitar drums ukulele and sing. diamonds (as in the jewel, NOT the four sided polygon) stars and hearts are my favorite shapes.
i’ll probably want a small to medium sized one, and i would likely have it on my wrist, fingers, or hip .

i was wondering if this would be a good Tattoo on my left rip cage going down to the begining of my thigh?
I was also wondering if anyone could give me another German phrase, because i want 4 phrases, but i can’t think of anything else that fits with being with someone for ever.
I am also a Christian, but i’m talking about being with God forever, and my girlfriend forever… I know it’s against the bible to get a Tattoo… but i would really really like to get one, and it to be about God.

Is it a sin if you get a tattoo or a scar of a cross on your body in the name of the Lord. They say if you get 666 on your body you accept the beast so if I get a cross wont that mean that I accept the Lord Jesus (not that that’s all you have to do of course).
I am curious to know why (to the majority of people) a christian who has tattoos is looked at in an awkward light. I mean, I feel that this is a personal conviction. If in your relationship with God, you feel it would be filthy to do such a thing, then you certainly shouldn’t. But if i, being a strong believer, think that if it’s done in an artistic and tasteful way, it’s ok to do it, then should i be able to??

those seem pretty religious but is it anywhere in the Bible that says that they are wrong??
