Is it a sin if you get a tattoo or a scar of a cross on your body in the name of the Lord. They say if you get 666 on your body you accept the beast so if I get a cross wont that mean that I accept the Lord Jesus (not that that’s all you have to do of course).

You don’t need to mutilate your body to accept Jesus, so don’t.
you have been seriously lied to.
1st off make NO marks or cutting on your body for the dead. 2nd. satan (the great deceiver and most intelligent of all angels) is so stupid that he will tattoo al of his followers right? get real. he intends to deceive people into following him. how would he deceive any one if they had a big old 666 on everyone of his followers. the mark is not on your fore head it is in your fore head. simply put when you worship him as Christ you have the mark. and the part about your right hand there is no tattoo or chip there either. what do you do with your right hand (based on the fact that the greater majority of the world is right handed)? you work with it. you can take his mark by either worshiping him (in your fore head) or by doing work for him (your hand). this can be done thru things like saying well i don’t know if he is Christ or not but in order to get paid i have to pay homage to him or take care of some stuff for him.
The prohibition against tattos in Leviticus is more about not worshipping pagan gods than it is about the actual tattoos. In ancient times tattooing, branding and scarification was typically performed as part of a ritial in pagan temples. It was done as part of an initiation or dedication ritual and marked you as belonging to that god’s or goddess’s cult.
i don’t think it’s bad. God forgives u even if u do something wrong. If u feel it is wrong, dont do it. But if u want to , go ahead. Actually, some people see tattoos and piercings as a way of dedication to God, they are misunderstood but they are showing that they will do that to themself for God. Don’t listen to atheists if u wana get one! lol i know someone who has a cross tattoo it looks nice.
The truth about Jesus is that the only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to eternal hell, is by believing in faith alone that Jesus, who is God, died for our sins on the cross as FULL PAYMENT for all our sins, and then Jesus rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Believe this and you will be in heaven, no matter what! Salvation is a FREE GIFT that happens in a split second when you believe in Jesus alone to save you! It is impossible to lose or “leave” salvation (John 6:39-40, 1 John 5:13).
Please pray now: “Jesus, please forgive me of my sins. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and You rose from the dead. Thank You for eternal life!” You will be in heaven with Him forever when you die.

It doesn’t matter what is on the outside. If you accept Christ as your Lord and Saviour, it comes from the inside.
Even one who accepted the “beast” can be saved if he wants to.
Leviticus 19:28

I agree with the guy above me, but I would not say it’s a sin. Some Christians believe it is, so make sure your church is O.K. with it.
Some people say its wrong because it says in the bible not to harm your body. I personally dont think there is anything wrong twith it. Especially if you get a cross, I think its alright!
